Relationships. We all have them. They shape our lives and define who we are. When they go well, we soar. When they struggle, we suffer. And the relationship with ourself can be one of the most complicated of them all.

Therapy + Yoga
Coming to therapy is a chance for you to gain clarity on your current situation. Together we will explore the dynamics in your life that are causing you trouble, and take a close look at what you need in order to achieve your personal goals.
The truth is, relationships do take skill. Learning how to get clear on your needs, how to communicate effectively, how to listen non-defensively - these are rarely skills modeled well for us growing up.
Coming to therapy on your own is a great opportunity to help with understanding your own relationship behaviors and patterns. Together we will set the foundation for healthy relating now and in your future.
As a couple, coming to couples therapy can make the difference between staying together and breaking up - or getting the clarity that has been escaping you for too long.
I further specialize in working with family systems in which addiction is present. Addiction affects more than the addict. If you are a family member of someone with problematic substance use, you are likely in need of guidance and support. I guide families through the complexities of addiction, helping establish a new family system that supports the addict's, as well as your own, recovery process.
